The Back Story

Wellington Judah is a singer/songwriter whose music blends Pop, R&B, and Worship, creating honest, soulful songs that bridge faith and reality. He writes music to bring Jesus glory, giving voice to hope within the human experience, and walks alongside listeners as a fellow struggler through life’s joys and challenges.

Proudly from Kansas City, MO, he was raised in the church where gospel choirs, vocal harmonies, and dependence on the Holy Spirit shaped his early musical journey. At home, he absorbed an eclectic mix of styles—from pop and R&B to hip hop, rock, disco, and funk—which inform the richness of his sound today.

After stepping away from the church for several years as a child, he recommitted his life to Christ as a teenager, discovering the power of worship, Scripture, and a loving body of believers. In college, he was exposed to classical and world music and a diverse network of talented musicians, learning lifelong lessons about faith, worship, and artistry.

Based in Nashville, TN, Wellington Judah brings years of ministry experience and a passion for seeing Jesus worshiped locally and around the world. He lives there with his beautiful wife and two amazing children while creating music that uplifts, inspires, and invites all to encounter God in every season of life.
